Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting. This document replaces GB/T 13529-2011 "Sodium Ethoxylated Alkyl Sulfate". Compared with GB/T 13529-2011, except for structural adjustment In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the item name of the content of ethoxylated alkyl sodium sulfate, and changed it to the content of anion active substances (see 5.3,.2011 edition 4.3);

b) Changed the requirements for the content of sodium ethoxylated alkyl sulfate (see 5.3,

4.3 of the.2011 edition);

c) Changed the requirements for unsulfated content of liquid products (see 5.3,

4.3 of the.2011 edition);

d) Changed the pH requirements for paste products (see 5.3,

4.3 of the.2011 edition);

e) increase the storage temperature of the product (see 8.4);

1 Scope

GB/T 13529-2022 is the Chinese national standard on sodium ethoxylated alkyl sulfate, in the field of chemical technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 30 December 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2023.
