Scope
GB/T 13449-2021 is the English-translated version of 金块矿取样和制样方法.
GB/T 13449-2021 is the Chinese national standard on method for sampling and sample preparation of gold lump ores, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 30 April 2021 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 November 2021. Classification: ICS 77.120.99, CCS H 04. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 13449-1992 "Manual Method for Sampling and Sample Preparation of Gold Nuggets". Compared with GB/T 13449-1992, In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
---The reference standards GB/T 2007.1 and GB/T 2007.2 are deleted (see Chapter 2 of the.1992 edition);
---Added reference standards GB/T 2007.3, GB/T 7739, GB/T 14260 (see Chapter 2);
--- Deleted the terms "manual sampling" and "stratified sampling" (see.1992 edition 3.1, 3.11);
--- Added the terms "inspection lot", "quality fluctuation", "precision" and "coefficient of variation" (see 3.2, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13);
---The relationship between the type of quality fluctuation and the number of copies has been added (see 4.4);
---The relationship between the maximum particle size of the sample and the amount of incremental sample has been increased (see 4.5);
---Added the parallel sampling method of unloading truck in stockyard (see 5.3.2);
---Added the sampling method of bagged gold nuggets (see 5.3.3);
--- Deleted "determining the total precision of metallurgical gold nuggets as ±2%" and "determining the sampling precision of metallurgical gold nuggets as 1.62%"
5.2 of the.1992 edition);
--- Deleted "stratified sampling" (see.1992 edition 5.7.1);
---The grinding fineness is changed, and the -150 mesh is changed to 0.074mm (see 6.2.1,
