This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 12442-1990 "Test method for hydroxyl content in quartz glass". Compared with GB/T 12442-1990, except The main technical changes outside the editorial changes are as follows:

3 Terms and definitions

5 Test equipment
