GB/T 10959-2025 is the English-translated version of 带移动工作台木工锯板机 术语和精度.
GB/T 10959-2025 is the Chinese national standard on circular sawing machines with travelling table for woodworking - vocabulary and accuracy, in the field of wood technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 5 October 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 May 2026. Classification: ICS 79.120.10, CCS J65. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 10959-2005 "Terminology and Precision of Woodworking Machine Tools with Moving Worktables - Panel Sawing Machines", and is consistent with GB/T 10959- Compared to.2005, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
---The normative references have been changed (see 4.2,
4.7 and Table 1; 3.2,
3.7 and Table 2 in the.2005 edition);
---Changed "Terminology" to "Terms and Definitions", and revised the example diagram and related technical content of the woodworking saw with a moving worktable (see...). Chapter 3 (Chapter 4 in the.2005 edition);
---The phrase "Brief Description" has been changed to "General Requirements," and the relevant content descriptions have been revised (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.2005 edition);
---The inspection methods in the geometric accuracy inspection items have been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2005 edition);
---The fixture for geometric accuracy inspection item 7 has been changed (see Table 1, Item 7, Chapter 5, G7 in the.2005 edition). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents. This document defines the terminology for woodworking saws with moving worktables and their main components, and specifies the geometric accuracy inspection and corresponding specifications. The results were poor, and the corresponding experimental methods were described. This document applies to the precision inspection of general-purpose, ordinary-precision woodworking saws with moving worktables. This document does not apply to operational tests of woodworking saws with movable workbenches (such as vibration, abnormal noise, component creep, etc.). It is not applicable to the inspection of machine tool characteristics (such as speed, feed rate, etc.).

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 A manually fed machine tool equipped with a main circular saw blade. During operation, the saw blade is fixed in the sawing position, and a moving part is located adjacent to the saw blade. Make a platform.
Note. The main components of the machine tool and their names are shown in Figure 1.
3.2 Sliding knife (rivingknife) A device installed behind the circular saw blade to prevent the workpiece from getting stuck in the saw blade.
3.3 Longitudinal section guide plate paralelfence Guide plates used for longitudinal sectioning.
3.4 Pressure A device that presses the workpiece against the positioning base surface, and there is relative motion between the workpiece and the base surface during the workpiece feeding.
3.5 Table Insert Panel The grooved plate-shaped part on the circular saw blade workbench is used for assembling the circular saw blade.
3.6 workbench table A component with a working plane for supporting and clamping workpieces.
