1 Scope

GB/T 10959-2025 is the Chinese national standard on circular sawing machines with travelling table for woodworking - vocabulary and accuracy, in the field of wood technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 5 October 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 May 2026. This document defines the terminology for woodworking saws with moving worktables and their main components, and specifies the geometric accuracy inspection and corresponding specifications. The results were poor, and the corresponding experimental methods were described. This document applies to the precision inspection of general-purpose, ordinary-precision woodworking saws with moving worktables. This document does not apply to operational tests of woodworking saws with movable workbenches (such as vibration, abnormal noise, component creep, etc.). It is not applicable to the inspection of machine tool characteristics (such as speed, feed rate, etc.).

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 A manually fed machine tool equipped with a main circular saw blade. During operation, the saw blade is fixed in the sawing position, and a moving part is located adjacent to the saw blade. Make a platform.
