Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document is Part 1 of GB/T 10826 "Glossary of Fuel Injection Devices". GB/T 10826 has already published the following parts.

1.Fuel Injection Pump;

4.High-Pressure Oil Pipes and Pipe End Fittings;

5.Common Rail Fuel Injection System. This document replaces GB/T 10826.1-2007 "Fuel Injection Device Vocabulary Part

1.Injection Pumps", and is consistent with GB/T 10826.1- Compared to.2007, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of application has been expanded (see Chapter 1);

b) The definition of the fuel injection pump has been changed (see 3.1,.2007 version 3.1);

c) Added terms and definitions for remanufactured fuel injection pumps (see 3.2);

d) Added terminology and definitions for constant stroke fuel injection pumps (see 4.4);

e) Added terminology and definitions for variable stroke fuel injection pumps (see 4.5);

f) The definition of a mechanical fuel injection pump has been changed (see 5.1,.2007 edition of 5.1);

g) The definition of electronically controlled fuel injection pumps has been changed (see 5.2,.2007 version 5.2);

h) The definition of a hydraulic fuel injection pump has been changed (see 5.3,.2007 edition of 5.3);

1 Scope

GB/T 10826.1-2025 is the Chinese national standard on fuel injection equipment - vocabulary - part 1:fuel injection pump, in the field of energy and heat transfer engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 31 October 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 February 2026. Classification: ICS 27.020, CCS J94. This document defines the terminology and definitions for fuel injection pumps in fuel injection systems. This document applies to the research, design, manufacture, and use of fuel injection pumps for compression ignition engines (diesel engines).

3 General Terms

3.1 fuel injection pump A device that pressurizes fuel and supplies it to the combustion chamber at regular intervals and in measured quantities through one or more high-pressure fuel lines and injectors.

3.2 Using old fuel injection pumps as remanufacturing blanks, the technical performance, reliability, and service life are improved through professional repair or upgrade. The quality characteristics of the fuel injection pump are no less than those of the prototype new product (3.1).

4 Working Principle

4.1 Fuel injection pump (3.1) whose plunger movement is directly driven by the operating mechanism.

4.2 An injection pump (3.1) that drives the piston movement with energy stored in an accumulator.

4.3 An injection pump (3.1) whose plunger is driven by external power and with or without an intermediate booster device.

4.4 Fuel injection pump with constant stroke plunger (3.1).

4.5 Variable stroke plunger fuel injection pump (3.1).
