Foreword
This document is drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 "Directives for standardization - Part
1.Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents". This document specifies the technical requirements related to food quality. Related requirements on food safety can be found in relevant laws and regulations, policies, food safety standards and other documents. This document replaces GB 10343-2008 "Edible alcohol". Compared with GB 10343- 2008, in addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Change the definition of edible alcohol (see 3.1;
3.1 of the 2008 edition);
b) Add the term and definition of super neutral alcohol (see 3.2);
c) Add product classification (see Clause 4);
d) Change the sensory requirements (see 5.1;
4.1 of the 2008 edition);
e) Change the physical and chemical requirements (see 5.2;
4.2 of the 2008 edition);
f) Change the test methods (see Clause 6; Clause 5 of the 2008 edition);
g) Change the inspection rules and marking (see Clauses 7 and 8; Clauses 6 and 7 of the 2008 edition). Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. 1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking of edible alcohol. This document is applicable to the production, inspection, and sales of edible alcohol.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Edible alcohol An aqueous alcohol for use in the food industry, which is made from fermentation and distillation of grains, potatoes, molasses or other edible crops as the main raw material. [Source: GB/T 17204-2021, 3.2]
4 Product classification
According to raw materials, it is classified into.
5 Requirements
5.1 Sensory requirements It shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
5.3 Net content Prepackaged products shall comply with the provisions of "Measures for the Metrological Supervision and Administration of Quantitatively Packed Commodities".
6 Test methods
6.1 Sensory requirements Carry out according to GB/T 394.2.
6.2 Physical and chemical requirements
6.3 Net content Carry out according to JJF 1070.
7.2 Sampling
7.2.1 The sampling method is as follows:
7.2.2 From the upper, middle and lower parts of the alcohol in the tank, the vertical tank shall be sampled according to the volume ratio of 2.3.2; the horizontal tank shall be sampled according to the volume ratio of 1.3.1.Tanker and barrel samples are sampled from the middle position.
7.3.1 Exit-factory inspection
7.3.1.1 Before the product leaves the factory, according to the provisions of this document, the inspection department of the manufacturer shall carry out inspection lot by lot. Only when the inspection results comply with this document can the product leaves the factory.
7.3.2 Type inspection
7.3.2.1 Inspection items include all items required by this document. Number of samples Lot range
7.3.2.2 Under normal circumstances, the type inspection of the same type of product is carried out every six months. It shall also be carried out in one of the following situations.
7.4 Determination rules
7.4.1 When one or more indicators of the inspection results do not meet the requirements of this document, twice the number of samples shall be taken from the same lot of products for re-inspection. The re-inspection results shall prevail.
8 Marking
8.1 Prepackaged products shall be marked with product classification, ethanol content, and net content.
