1 Scope

GB 7956.18-2025 is the Chinese national standard on fire fighting vehicle - part 18: decontamination fire fighting vehicle, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 2 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 January 2027. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 7956.1 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 heating rate The temperature of the fire truck tank is increased per unit time by using a heating device.

Note. Heating rate is measured in degrees Celsius per minute (°C/min).

3.2 Equipment that is permanently installed on a decontamination fire truck for decontamination operations.

3.3 Equipment that can be moved outside the decontamination fire truck to carry out decontamination operations.

4 Technical Requirements

4.1 Basic Requirements The disinfection vehicle shall comply with the provisions of GB 7956.1.
