1 Scope

GB 7956.10-2025 is the Chinese national standard on fire fighting vehicle - part 10: airport fire fighting vehicle, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 2 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 January 2027. This document defines the terminology for airport fire trucks; and specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of airport fire trucks. This document applies to the design, manufacture, and inspection of all types of airport fire trucks used for firefighting (hereinafter referred to as "airport trucks").

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 7956.1 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 All-wheel drive, off-road capability, width not less than 3000mm, and fully automatic or manual-automatic transmission for fire truck conversion. The chassis is installed.

3.2 Airport vehicles with an extinguishing agent loading capacity of not less than 450L and less than.2000L.

3.3 Airport vehicles with an extinguishing agent loading capacity of not less than.2000L and less than 6000L.

3.4 Airport vehicles with a fire extinguishing agent loading capacity of not less than 6000L.
