This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 7793-2010 "Hygienic Standards for Daylighting and Illumination in Primary and Secondary School Classrooms". Compared with GB 7793-2010, except for the structure... Aside from adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2010 edition);

---Added "Classroom", "Secondary Vocational School", "Lighting Uniformity", "Writing Board", "Color Transmission Index", "Visible Light Transmission Ratio", and "Flicker". Terms and definitions for "index" and "flicker effect visibility" (see 3.1, 3.2, 3.4~3.9);

---The definitions of the terms "daylight factor" and "maintained average illuminance" have been changed (see 3.3, 3.10, and

3.8 in the.2010 edition);

---The following terms have been removed. 1 Scope

GB 7793-2025 is the Chinese national standard on hygienic standard for day lighting and artificial lighting for middle and elementary school, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 5 October 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 November 2026. Classification: ICS 13.100, CCS C56.
