1 Scope

GB 7300.306-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additive - part 3: minerals and their complexes (or chelates) - chromium nicotinate, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2026. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. It also describes the technical requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life, and describes the sampling and test methods. This document applies to feed additives with chromium (III) tripyridine-3-carboxylate (nicotinic acid) as the main ingredient, which is produced by the reaction of chromium trichloride and nicotinic acid.
