Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting: This document replaces GB/T 37219-2018 "Safety Specifications for Inflatable Amusement Facilities": Compared with GB/T 37219-2018, except for the structure In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2018 edition);

b) Changes in terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the:2018 edition);

c) Fixed safety requirements changed (see 5:1, 4:2 of the:2018 version);

d) Added safety requirements for inflatable slides (see 5:6);

e) Changed the content of pinch protection (see 5:7, 4:7 of the:2018 version);

f) Added special requirements for wading inflatable amusement facilities and non-sustainable inflatable amusement facilities (see 5:10 and 5:11);

g) The hazardous substance limits of materials have been changed (see 6:1:3, 5:1:3 of the:2018 version);

h) Delete the inspection and test of pinch protection, fence height test, ground contact test, anchor point tensile test, load test, flexible fabric Test methods such as strength test and flame retardancy test of materials (see Chapter 6 of the:2018 edition);

i) Added inspection, testing and testing methods (see 7:2);

1 Scope

GB 37219-2023 is the Chinese national standard on safety specification of inflatable play equipment, in the field of domestic and commercial equipment, entertainment, sport. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 28 December 2023 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2024.
