This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1 Scope

GB 19997-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering how loud a combine or forage harvester may be - the limit at the operator's ear and the limit for the noise emitted to the surroundings, with the measurement conditions and the machine states under which each is taken. A mandatory GB standard, not a recommended one: compliance is a condition of sale. Issued on 31 October 2025, it takes effect on 1 November 2026, replacing GB 19997-2005.

This document specifies the dynamic environmental noise limits for harvesting machinery and the noise limits at the driver's operating position (near the ear), and describes the corresponding limits. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
