Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" to be drafted.

This document replaces FZ/T 81004-2012 "Dresses and Skirt Covers". Compared with FZ/T 81004-2012, except for editorial changes, the main the technical changes are as follows.

a) Added a chapter on terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

b) Modified the requirements for instructions for use (see 4.1, 3.1 of the 2012 edition);

c) Modified the requirements for raw materials (see 4.3, 3.3 of the 2012 edition);

d) Modified the requirements for warp and weft directions (see 4.4, 3.4 of the 2012 edition);

e) Modified the requirements for clauses and grids (see 4.5, 3.5 of the 2012 edition);

f) Delete the splicing requirement (see 3.6 of the 2012 edition);

g) Modified the requirements for color difference (see 4.6, 3.7 of the 2012 edition)

h) Modified the requirements for appearance defects (see 4.7, 3.8 of the 2012 edition);

i) Modified the sewing requirements (see 4.8, 3.9 of the 2012 edition);

j) Modified the requirements for ironing (see 4.10, 3.11 of the 2012 edition);

k) Added the requirement that "the safety performance of clothing worn by children over the age of 3 to 14 should also comply with the provisions of GB 31701" (see 4.11);

l) Modified the requirements for color fastness to wet rubbing (see 4.11, 3.12 of the 2012 edition);

m) Increased phenol yellowing and tear strength (see 4.11);

n) Modified the requirements for appearance after washing (see 4.11, 3.12.2 of the 2012 edition);

o) Modified the requirements for the footnotes of physical and chemical properties (see 4.11, 3.12.1.2~3.12.1.8 of the 2012 edition);

p) Modified the inspection method (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of the 2012 edition);

q) Modified the inspection rules (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the 2012 edition);

r) Delete the normative Appendix A and Appendix B (see Appendix A and Appendix B of the 2012 edition);

s) Added the normative appendix, the method for judging skirts with loose styles (see Appendix A).

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of skirts, dresses and skirt covers.

This document applies to skirts, dresses and skirt covers produced mainly from woven fabrics.

This document does not apply to clothing for infants and young children aged 36 months and under.
