Scope

YY/T 0064-2016 is the English-translated version of 医用诊断X射线管组件电气及负载特性.

YY/T 0064-2016 is the Chinese pharmaceutical industry standard for the electrical and loading characteristics of X-ray tube assemblies used in medical diagnosis, whether the anode rotates or is fixed, and it also covers the requirements for the components of an X-ray tube head.

It defines those characteristics and the conditions under which they hold during power-up and operation, and it gives at each point how they are described and measured, so that the figures a manufacturer declares - tube voltage, current, power and the loading the assembly will bear - mean the same to everyone.

It is addressed to manufacturers and to the bodies responsible for checking them, and its measurements are those of actual use, whose effect on tube life is negligible.

It replaces YY/T 0064-2004, was issued on 23 March 2016 and has applied since 1 January 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard is equivalent to the use of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC 60613.:2010 "medical diagnostic X-ray tube assembly electrical and load characteristics." This standard replaces YY/T 0064-2004 "Medical diagnostic rotary anode X-ray tube electrical, thermal and load characteristics".

Compared with YY/T 0064-2004, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- the standard name from the "medical diagnosis of rotating anode X-ray tube electricity, heat and load characteristics" to "medical diagnostic X-ray tube components Electrical and load characteristics ";

--- Added definition and characteristics of X-ray tube caps (see 3.5, 3.6, 3.7);

- Added terminology on CT pipe characteristics (see 3.16, 3.20, 3.21);

--- removed the anode thermal characteristics of the content, the maximum continuous heat dissipation renamed nominal continuous input power.

1 Scope

This standard applies to X-ray tube assemblies for rotary or fixed anodes for medical diagnostics. For X-ray tube heads, their component requirements are also included.

This standard covers the definition and conditions of the performance and load characteristics of X-ray tube assemblies during power-up and power-on.

The description and measurement of these characteristics are given at the appropriate point. Therefore, this standard applies to manufacturers and relevant responsible organizations.

Note. The "measurement" in this standard is related to actual use, so "measurement" results in loss of life of the X-ray tube assembly, which is negligible.

3 Terms and definitions

IEC /T R60788..2004, IEC 60601-1.:2005 and IEC 60601-1-3.:2008 and the following terms and definitions apply In this document.

3.1 X-ray tube voltage X-raytubevoltage

Added to the X-ray tube between the anode and cathode potential difference. Typically, the X-ray tube voltage is expressed in terms of the peak voltage in kilovolts (kV). [IEC 60601-1-3.:2008, definition 3.88]

3.2 Nominal X-ray tube voltage

The maximum allowable X-ray tube voltage under certain operating conditions. [IEC 60601-1-3.:2008, definition 3.42]

Note 1. For X-ray tube different working conditions, such as continuous work, intermittent work, short work and different types of X-ray tube sets, the nominal X-ray The tube voltage may have a different value.

Note 2. In addition, this value can be given by the maximum permissible potential difference between the anode and the ground and the cathode and ground.
