YS/T 509.1-2026 is the English-translated version of 锂辉石、锂云母精矿化学分析方法 第 1 部分：氧化锂、氧化钾、氧化钠、氧化铷、氧化铯含量的测定 原子吸收光谱法.

Part 1 of the series on chemical analysis of spodumene and lepidolite concentrates describes the determination of the contents of lithium oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, rubidium oxide and caesium oxide by atomic absorption spectrometry. It applies to the determination of these five oxides in spodumene and lepidolite concentrates.

It is used by lithium ore producers and traders, by lithium chemical plants that buy the concentrates, and by analytical and inspection laboratories. It is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 15 April 2026 and takes effect on 1 November 2026. It replaces YS/T 509.1-2008 and YS/T 509.2-2008.
