Scope
SY/T 6671-2017 is the English-translated version of 石油设施电气设备场所ⅰ级0区、1区和2区的分类.
SY/T 6671-2017 — This standard applies to the classification of electrical equipment for temporary and permanent installations, ie for use in normal atmospheric environments where there is a risk of ignition due to the presence of flammable gases or a mixture of vapour and air.
Normal atmospheric conditions are defined as reference points of 101.3 kPa (14.7 psia) and 20 C (68 F), and the effect of the change on the explosive properties of flammable materials is negligible.
The following items are not included in this standard: a) Pipeline systems for odorizing natural gas fuels used in cooking, heating, air conditioning, laundry and other similar equipment. b) Catastrophic accidents such as blowouts or bursting of process vessels.
Such extreme events are unpredictable and require contingency measures when they occur. c) Rationality of installing non-electrical equipment locations.
