Scope
QC/T 973-2014 is the English-translated version of 摩托车和轻便摩托车车轮缓冲块.
The cushion blocks fitted in the wheels of motorcycles and mopeds are covered by QC/T 973-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese automotive industry. It gives the terminology and definitions for the block, the requirements it must meet, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Its scope is the rubber cushion block used in motorcycle and moped wheels. The standard quotes a long run of rubber test methods, among them GB/T 528, GB/T 531.1, GB/T 1690, GB/T 3512, GB/T 7759 and GB/T 22436-2008, together with HG/T 3090 and SJ/T 11365-2006.
It is classified T82 and was put out by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Issued on 14 October 2014, it has applied since 1 April 2015.
