Foreword

This standard ASTMD297-1993 (re-approved in 2006), "Rubber Products chemical analysis methods" (in English) for the degree of agreement Non-equivalent.

This standard replaces GB/T 13644-1992 "vulcanized rubber - Determination of magnesium content CyDTA titration method", GB/T 13645-1992 "Vulcanized rubber - Determination of calcium content EGTA titration method", GB/T 14836-1993 "Qualitative analysis of vulcanized rubber ash" GB/T 18174-2000 "Determination of silica content rubber", GB/T 7766-2000 "Determination of nitric rubber carbon black content Digestion ", GB/T 9875-2001" Identification of chemical methods "rubber polymer.

The main technical differences between standard compared with the above-mentioned six criteria are as follows.

--- Added generic chemical analysis methods, including the scope (of the standard 4.1), sample preparation and test requirements (this standard 4.2), the sample Preliminary Determination (This standard is 4.3);

--- Increased the determination of the content of the rubber polymer (this standard 4.4);

--- Increasing the content of complexing agent method (this standard 4.5);

--- Increasing the density of the analytical method (this standard 4.7);

--- Increased by 8 methods of determining extractives (this standard 4.8);

--- Increase the determination of three kinds of sulfur (4.9 of this standard);

--- An increase of 3 fillers analytical methods (this standard 4.10);

--- Increasing the analysis and determination of ash (4.11 of this standard);

--- All revised test procedure.

The Standard Appendix A, Appendix B are informative appendices.

The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
