QC/T 888-2011 is the English-translated version of 焊接六角凸缘锁紧螺母.

QC/T 888-2011 is the recommended automotive industry standard for prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon weld nuts with a collar. It defines the type and the dimensions of the nut and the technical conditions it must meet.

The nuts within its scope have thread sizes from M8 to M14 and product grade A, and are intended for vehicle use. Classified T31 and 43.040, the standard quotes GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 196, GB/T 197, GB/T 3098.9, GB/T 3103.1, GB/T 5779.2 and QC/T 326. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
