Scope
QC/T 775-2007 is the English-translated version of 乘用车类别及代码.
QC/T 775-2007 is a recommended standard of the Chinese automotive industry that establishes how passenger cars are classified and coded. Categories are drawn up according to the structure and the technical characteristics of the vehicle, and each category is given its own code.
The scheme covers the M1 vehicle category as defined in GB/T 15089-2001, so passenger-carrying vehicles of that category are named and coded on a single, uniform basis across the industry.
