QC/T 383-2013 is the English-translated version of 六角头锥形磁性螺塞.
QC/T 383-2013 is the Chinese automotive industry standard for hexagon head taper plugs with a magnetic core. It fixes the types and the dimensions of the plug and the technical conditions it has to satisfy.
The plugs it covers are those used on vehicles in thread sizes from NPT 3/8 to NPT 1-1/2. It quotes GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 12716, QC/T 326, QC/T 386 and QC/T 625.
The standard replaces QC/T 383-1999 and is classified T32 in the Chinese scheme and 43.040 in the international one. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
