QC/T 378-2013 is the English-translated version of 内六角锥形螺塞.
QC/T 378-2013 is the recommended Chinese automobile industry standard for the hexagon socket taper plug, the countersunk headless form driven from an internal hexagon.
It lays down the type and dimensions of the plug and the technological conditions it must meet. The thread sizes it covers are the smaller ones, from NPT1/8 to NPT1/4, on plugs used in motor vehicles.
GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 12716, QC/T 326 and QC/T 625 are the documents quoted, and the standard is classified T32 in the Chinese system. It supersedes QC/T 378-1999. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
