QC/T 876-2011 is the English-translated version of 塑料用六角凸缘自攻螺钉.
QC/T 876-2011 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for hexagon collar head tapping screws used in plastics. It fixes the types and the dimensions of the screw and the technical conditions it has to meet.
The screws it covers run from thread size NST3 to NST6 and are driven into a plastic nut seat or a comparable part on a motor vehicle. GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, GB/T 3098.5, GB/T 3103.1, QC/T 326, QC/T 625 and QC/T 713 are quoted in it.
It carries the Chinese classification T31 and the international classification 43.040. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
