Scope

QC/T 1000.1-2015 is the English-translated version of 汽车滤清器用非织布性能要求和测试方法第1部分：乘驾室空气滤清器用.

QC/T 1000.1-2015 is part 1 of the QC/T 1000 series on nonwovens for automotive filters, and deals with the nonwoven media of passenger compartment filters.

Clause 1 covers their classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage, and applies the part only to nonwovens for passenger compartment filters.

Clause 3 takes the vocabulary of QC/T 795.1 and QC/T 795.2 and separates ordinary filter media, whose filtration efficiency is below 70%, from activated carbon filter media.

Clause 3 defines the tolerance of grammage as the percentage deviation of the measured grammage from the nominal one, and clause 5 fixes the measurements: thickness as a percentage tolerance, to GB/T 24218.2, tensile strength and elongation to GB/T 24218.3, air permeability to GB/T 5453, stiffness to GB/T 22364, flammability to GB 8410, pH to GB 7573, sensory odour to GB 18401, formaldehyde to GB/T 2912.1 and banned azo colourants to GB/T 17592 and GB/T 23344.

Clause 6 treats one delivery as one inspection batch. Issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015, it has applied since 1 October 2015.

1 Scope

This Part specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packing, transportation and storage of non-woven of filters for passenger compartment (hereinafter referred to as non-woven).

This Part applies to non-woven of filter for passenger compartment.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions, and those defined in QC/T 795.1 and QC/T 795.2, apply.

3.1 Ordinary filter media

non-woven filter media which are used for air conditioner filter for passenger compartment with a filter efficiency less than 70%

3.3 Activated carbon filter media

non-woven filter media which are used for air conditioner filter for passenger compartment and contain activated carbon

3.4 Tolerance of grammage

deltaG - tolerance of grammage, %;

M - actually measured grammage, g/m²;

m - nominal grammage, g/m². […]

5 Test methods

5.5 Tensile strength is as specified in GB/T 24218.3.

5.6 Permeability to air is as specified in GB/T 5453.

5.7 Stiffness is as specified in GB/T 22364.

5.11 Fire resistance is as specified in GB 8410.

5.12 Determination of pH is as specified in GB 7573.

5.13 Sensory odours are as specified in GB 18401.

5.14 Determination of formaldehyde is as specified in GB/T 2912.1.

5.15 Determination of resoluble carcinogenic aromatic amine dyestuffs is as specified in GB/T 17592 and GB/T 23344.

5.4 Tolerance of thickness

5.4.1 Determine thickness as specified in GB/T 24218.2.
