1 Foreword

NB/T 42023-2013 was issued by National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China on 28 November 2013 and has been in force since 1 April 2014.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended energy industry standard of China on how the uncertainty of test data is treated. It sets out the general procedure for evaluating the measurement uncertainty of a test, the way the result is written up in the report, and the limits placed on the expanded uncertainty. It is written for measurements made in high voltage and high current testing, which is where it is used in laboratory practice. The standard is a modified adoption of STL TR3-2008 and quotes GB/T 27025-2008, JJF 1059.1-2012, the GB/T 16927 series and ILAC G8-1996. It carries classification K40 and ICS 19.020.
