NB/T 31019-2011 is a recommended energy industry standard covering corona-resistant polyimide film-backed mica paper tape with glass fabric, the insulation used on the coils of wind energy generators.
It sets the classification and the naming of the product, the test methods, the requirements, the inspection rules, the marking, the packaging, the transport and the storage.
The tape it describes is built on mica paper, with corona-resistant polyimide film on one side or on both, with E-glass cloth as the reinforcing material, the layers bonded together by a high temperature adhesive.
