Scope

GB/T 5019.13-2023 is the English-translated version of 以云母为基的绝缘材料 第13部分:高导热性玻璃布补强少胶云母带.

GB/T 5019.13-2023 is the Chinese national standard for high thermal conductivity glass-cloth-reinforced low-resin mica tape used in vacuum pressure impregnation.

It fixes the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, and describes the matching test methods; it defines the tape as one built from highly conductive mica paper, filler or resin and reaching a thermal conductivity of not less than 0.30 W per metre kelvin.

Clause 4 splits the product into two models, according to whether it contains a zinc ion accelerator, and three nominal thicknesses set out in Table 1, while Appendix A gives the way thermal conductivity specimens are prepared.

Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 5019.2-2009, GB/T 5019.12-2017, GB/T 458 and GB/T 29313. Issued on 28 December 2023, it has applied since 1 July 2024.

Introduction

The standard for electrical mica insulation materials is widely used in the research and development, production, quality inspection, sales, acceptance and technical exchange of this series of products.

There are many types of products involved, so different parts need to be compiled separately when compiling this product standard.

GB/T 5019 "Mica-based Insulating Materials" stipulates the definition and general requirements, test methods, and various types of mica insulating materials for electrical use.

The individual material product standards are intended to consist of the following parts.

---Part 1. Definitions and general requirements. The purpose is to determine the terms and definitions and general requirements for mica insulation materials used in electrical applications.

---Part 2. Test methods. The purpose is to determine test methods for mica insulation materials used in electrical applications.

---Part 3. Commutator partitions and materials. The purpose is to determine the general requirements, dimensions, defects and conductivity of commutator diaphragms and materials Particles, performance requirements, shapes and logos.

---Part 4. Mica paper. The purpose is to determine the classification, supply, marking, requirements and test methods of mica paper.

---Part 5. Hard mica plates for electric heating equipment. The purpose is to determine the classification, general requirements, defects and Conductive particles, thickness and tolerances, performance requirements, test methods, delivery forms and markings.

---Part 6. Polyester film reinforced B-stage epoxy resin bonded mica tape. The purpose is to determine the polyester film reinforced B-stage epoxy resin Naming and packaging of adhesive mica tapes.

---Part 7. Vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) with glass cloth and film reinforced epoxy resin bonded mica tape. The purpose is to determine the vacuum Classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, Packaging, labelling, shipping and storage.

---Part 8. Glass cloth reinforced B-stage epoxy resin bonded mica tape. The purpose is to determine the glass cloth reinforced B-stage epoxy resin bonding

Product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of mica tapes.

---Part 9. Epoxy-bonded mylar mica tape for wrapping individual wires. The purpose is to determine the epoxy wrapping of a single wire Classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of resin-bonded polyester film mica tapes.

---Part 10. Mica tape for fire-resistant safety cables. The purpose is to determine the product model, requirements, and testing of mica tape for fire-resistant safety cables. test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage.

---Part 11. Shaped mica plates. The purpose is to determine the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging packaging, marking, transportation and storage.
