Scope
NB/T 25033-2014 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂常规岛流体加速腐蚀敏感管线筛选导则.
Flow-accelerated corrosion is the concern of NB/T 25033-2014, the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for screening the susceptible lines on the conventional island of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant.
It gives the criteria by which such lines are selected, the method for screening the susceptible fittings, the methods of inspection and evaluation, and the adjustment and preventive management requirements that follow for susceptible lines and fittings.
Its field of use is carbon steel and low alloy steel piping in the conventional island carrying soft water, and other hot water system piping may be screened by reference to it.
It quotes GB/T 11344 and NB/T 20003.2. Issued on 18 March 2014, it has applied since 1 August 2014.
