NB/T 25027-2014 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard giving technical guidance on the ageing condition and lifetime assessment of passive mechanical equipment on the conventional island of a nuclear power plant.

It sets out the basic processes and methods by which the ageing state and remaining life of the passive metal parts of that machinery and equipment are assessed.

The plant it is written for is the conventional island of a nuclear power station, and it was issued by the National Energy Administration under classification F49 and ICS 27.120.

Among the documents quoted on it are GB 151, GB/T 6398, GB 50316, DL/T 654 and NB/T 47004, together with an IAEA safety publication of 2007. Issued on 18 March 2014, it has applied since 1 August 2014.
