Scope
NB/T 25002-2011 is the English-translated version of 核电厂海工构筑物设计规范.
NB/T 25002-2011 is the Chinese energy industry standard that governs the design of the maritime structures of a nuclear power plant. It lays down the basic principles such design must follow, together with the detailed requirements attached to them.
Its scope is the offshore works of a pressurized water reactor plant: the sea revetment protecting the site and its waters, and the intake and discharge works built there, among them breakwaters, guide dykes, separation embankments, culverts and tunnels, intake and outfall structures, pump house side walls, aqueducts, intake and drainage channels, heavy cargo wharves, navigation channels and temporary offshore structures.
It quotes GB 50011, GB 50021, GB/T 50476, DL/T 5148 and a broad set of JTS and JTJ port and waterway codes. Issued on 28 July 2011, it has applied since 1 November 2011.
