Scope
NB/T 20265-2014 is the English-translated version of 核电厂继电器抗震试验.
NB/T 20265-2014 deals with the seismic testing of relays in nuclear power plants and is a recommended energy industry standard of China. It states the requirements for the seismic test procedure used to find how vulnerable protective relays and auxiliary relays are to earthquake motion, and it recommends methods for the verification tests.
The standard is based on IEEE C37.98-1987 and quotes IEEE 323-2003 and IEEE 344-2004(R2009). It carries Chinese classification F83 and international classification 27.120.20.
It replaces EJ/T 706-1992. Issued on 29 June 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.
