Scope
NB/T 20351-2015 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全级保护继电器及辅助器件的鉴定.
NB/T 20351-2015 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard dealing with the qualification of safety class protective relays and their auxiliary devices for nuclear power plants.
It gives the principles, the requirements and the methods for qualifying such devices, so that they satisfy GB/T 12727 under normal and abnormal conditions and during and after a design basis accident.
It covers protective relays and auxiliaries installed outside the containment, and does not cover those installed inside it. Quoted documents include GB/T 12727, GB/T 13625, GB/T 13629, several parts of the GB/T 14598 series, NB/T 20265-2014, NB/T 20272-2014, IEEE 101, IEEE 1012 and IEEE C37.90.
The standard replaces EJ/T 970-1995. Issued on 1 July 2015, it has applied since 1 December 2015.
