Scope

NB/T 11636-2024 is the English-translated version of 煤矿用芳纶织物芯阻燃输送带.

NB/T 11636-2024 is the Chinese energy industry standard for aramid textile fire retardant conveyor belts used in coal mines, that is, flame retardant belts whose tensile member is a single layer of aramid fabric.

It sets out how the belts are classified, designated and specified, then gives their technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, with a normative annex on testing tensile strength and elongation at break.

Marking, packaging, storage and transportation are covered as well. The document is written for coal mine belts, and aramid belts for non-coal mines may use it as a reference. Issued on 24 September 2024, it has applied since 24 March 2025.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, model and specification, technical requirements, test conditions and test results of aramid fabric core flame retardant conveyor belts for coal mines (hereinafter referred to as "aramid belts"). Inspection methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation.

This document is applicable to aramid fabric core flame retardant conveyor belts for coal mines, and can be used as a reference for aramid fabric core flame retardant conveyor belts for non-coal mines.
