Scope

GB/T 29723.4-2013 is the English-translated version of 煤矿主要工序能耗等级和限值 第4部分:主提升带式输送系统.

GB/T 29723.4-2013 is Part 4 of GB/T 29723 and deals with the main elevating belt conveyor system of a coal mine.

Clause 1 states that this part gives the basic requirements, the method for calculating the energy consumption indicators, and the grading and the limits of those indicators for the process, and that it applies to coal mines with a main lift belt conveyor system and to the main belt conveyor system that hoists in the dark inclined shaft, while other hoisting belt conveyor systems may also refer to it.

The foreword lists the five parts of GB/T 29723: Part 1 the main ventilation system, Part 2 the main drainage system, Part 3 the air compression system, Part 4 the main lift belt conveyor system and Part 5 the main hoist system.

Clause 3 defines the process energy consumption of the system as the energy that has to be consumed within the statistical period to hoist one tonne of material 100 m of comparable height, with a note that the statistical period should be one year.

Clause 4 sets six basic requirements, among them that the energy measuring instruments fitted to the system be installed as GB 17167 requires and be verified or calibrated, that the control devices and instrumentation be intact and themselves verified or calibrated, that the system have a soft start device, that it run smoothly with uniform feeding, and that the operating records be complete and accurate with complete technical files.

Clause 5 opens the calculation method with the energy metering boundary, taking the switch cabinet that controls the start, the running and the stopping of the first belt conveyor motor of the main hoisting section as the starting point of the metering system.

The draft breaks off there, so the indicator formulas and the grading limits are not shown. Clause 2 cites GB 17167 and MT/T 1070. It was issued on 18 September 2013 and has applied since 1 January 2014.
