Scope
GB/T 29723.1-2013 is the English-translated version of 煤矿主要工序能耗等级和限值 第1部分:主要通风系统.
GB/T 29723.1-2013 is the first part of GB/T 29723 and sets the energy consumption grades and limits for the primary fan system of a coal mine.
Clause 1 states that this part specifies the basic requirements for the coal mine main ventilation system process, the method of calculating the energy consumption indicator, and the grading and limits of that indicator, and that it applies to coal mines with a main ventilation system process; no exclusion is stated.
The foreword lists the five parts of GB/T 29723: the main ventilation system, the main drainage system, the air compression system, the main lift belt conveyor system and the main hoist system.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 15259, GB 17167 and MT/T 1071, while clause 3 takes over the terms defined in GB/T 15259 and adds two of its own, the main fan, a fan installed on the surface that supplies air to the whole mine, to one wing or to one partition, and the process energy consumption of the main ventilation system, expressed as the power consumed per 1 Mm3 of air extracted or pushed and per 1 Pa of pressure reduced or raised, with a note that the statistical period should be one year.
Clause 4, Basic requirements, bars obsolete fans and motors, requires the fan and its motor to be matched so that they run normally, requires the energy measuring instruments of the system to be installed as GB 17167 requires and to be examined or calibrated, requires the controls and gauges to be intact and verified or calibrated, requires the air leakage rate of the surface duct and the anti-wind device, explosion-proof doors and other ancillary facilities to meet the relevant regulations, and requires complete and accurate logs and complete technical files.
The draft on the page ends with clause 4, so the clauses holding the calculation method and the grades and limits themselves are not shown.
The part was proposed by the China Coal Industry Association and is kept by the National Coal Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC42); it carries ICS 73.040 and Chinese classification D98, with about 6,696 words estimated.
It was issued on 18 September 2013 and has applied since 1 January 2014; the page does not say which edition it replaces.
