1 Foreword

JB/T 9905.3-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It is one of 4 parts of the JB/T 9905 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that deals with the accuracy testing of centreless external cylindrical grinding machines in their high-precision version. It sets the test methods and the corresponding tolerances for geometric accuracy and for working accuracy. It also covers the positioning accuracy of the machine axes and the repeatability of that positioning. The checks are made in accordance with GB/T 17421.1, GB/T 17421.2 and GB/T 19660. This third part of the series replaces JB/T 9919-1999.
