JB/T 9898-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9898-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 9898-2013 is the Chinese machinery industry standard that covers the accuracy testing of traveling-type universal radial drilling machines. It sets the requirements placed on the geometric accuracy of the machine and the methods by which that accuracy is tested. It applies to traveling-type universal radial drilling machines with a maximum drilling diameter from 40 mm to 80 mm.
