JB/T 9731.2-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9731.2-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 9731 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 9731.2-2010 is the second part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the camshaft of the fuel injection pump of diesel engines, and it is given over to the dimensions of the shaft extension. It fixes the types and the basic dimensions of the tapered shaft end of the injection pump camshaft. It applies to the camshafts of in-line injection pumps fitted to tractor, automotive, stationary, portable and small marine diesel engines. The part carries Chinese classification J94 and the international classifications 27.020 and 43.060.40, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It cites GB/T 3-1997, and it supersedes JB/T 9731.2-1999.
