1 Foreword

JB/T 9612.1-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9612.1-1999.

It is one of 9 parts of the JB/T 9612 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 9612.1-2013 sets the general requirements of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on shaped copper and copper alloy bus bars for electrical purposes. It gives the terms and definitions used for these bars, their codes, the technical requirements, the inspection rules, the delivery requirements and the packaging and transport. Shaped copper and copper alloy bars for electrical purposes are what it addresses. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 467-2010, GB/T 2900.10-2013, JB/T 9612.2-2013 and JB/T 9612.4-2013. The part replaces JB/T 9612.1-1999 and is filed under the Chinese classification K11 and the international classification 29.060.10.
