It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9175.2-1999.

2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the quality of fine-blanked parts. It sets the quality requirements for precision metal stampings produced by fine blanking, the process in which a strong blank holder presses the sheet while the part is cut out.
