1 Foreword

JB/T 9175.1-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9175.1-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 9175 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended machinery industry standard of China dealing with the structural manufacturability of fine-blanked parts. It states what the shape and the structure of a part must allow if that part is to be produced by fine blanking, the process in which a strong blank holder grips the metal while it is cut. Blanks of precision metal stampings made in this way are its subject. Chinese classification J32 and international classification 25.020 are given for it. Among the standards it quotes are JB/T 6957, JB/T 6958 and JB/T 9175.2. The edition it replaces is JB/T 9175.1-1999.
