JB/T 9062-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9062-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the painting of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment. It defines the terms used for painting such equipment, describes the coating methods, fixes the requirements the finished paintwork must meet, and gives the testing and the inspection rules by which it is checked. Ventilation and air-conditioning plant that receives a paint finish comes within it. The standard is classified J73 in the Chinese system and 91.140.30 in the international one.
