NB/T 35040-2014 is the English-translated version of 水力发电厂供暖通风与空气调节设计规范.
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning design in hydroelectric power stations is the subject of NB/T 35040-2014, issued as a recommended energy industry standard in China.
It applies to newly built, extended and renovated hydroelectric plants, pumped storage stations included, and defines the heating, ventilation and air conditioning arrangements those plants require.
The design rules belong to the hydropower engineering classification P59. GB/T 8175, GB/T 14295, GB/T 18883, GB 50019, GB/T 50087, GB 50189, GB 50243, GB 50738 and DL/T 5186 are quoted in its provisions.
The code took the place of DL/T 5165-2002. Issued on 15 October 2014, it has applied since 1 March 2015.
