JB/T 8954-2017 was issued by MIIT on 7 November 2017 and has been in force since 1 April 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8954-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 8954-2017 is the specification for YZLP series single-phase induction motors of the two-value capacitor type, made for flat cars. It fixes the motor types, the basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and test methods, and the requirements for marking, packaging and the guarantee period. The standard is a recommended one of the Chinese machinery industry, classified K26 in China and 29.160.30 internationally. It replaces JB/T 8954-2010.
