JB/T 8824.7-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8824.7-1998.
It is one of 13 parts of the JB/T 8824 series.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended machinery industry standard of China for the thread rolling die, or rolling wheel, used to form unified threads. It lays down the type and the dimensions of the rolling wheel together with its technical requirements and the basic rules for marking and packaging. Rolling wheels that form unified screw threads are the tools it governs, the thread being rolled into the workpiece rather than cut from it. Its Chinese classification is J41 and its international classification 25.100.99. It quotes GB/T 20668. The edition it takes the place of is JB/T 8824.7-1998.
