1 Foreword

JB/T 8807.2-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

It is one of 2 parts of the JB/T 8807 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering closed type straight slide trays of Japanese design for slide projectors. Part 2 gives the main dimensions of trays that take slides of 5 cm by 5 cm nominal size, in capacities of 36 and of 50 slides. A tray of this form feeds the slide sideways: the slide passes from the side of the tray into the projector, and once it has been pushed in it cannot be drawn back out of the tray. The document is a modified adoption of ISO 11106-2:1997. Among the standards it quotes are ISO 54-1977 and ISO 2768-1-1989. It replaces JB/T 8807.2-1998.
