1 Foreword

JB/T 8807.1-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

It is one of 2 parts of the JB/T 8807 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for open type straight slide trays of European design used in slide projectors. Part 1 fixes the main dimensions of trays holding slides of 5 cm by 5 cm nominal size in capacities of 36 and of 50, and it also specifies the gauges with which the profile of the tray and the conveyance system are checked. Slides sit upright in a tray of this type: the slide is raised clear of the tray and then pushed sideways into the projector, and while it is in the projector it stays fully accessible and can be taken out or put back. The document is a modified adoption of ISO 11106-1:1997, and it replaces JB/T 8807.1-1998.
