1 Foreword
JB/T 8682-2011 was issued by MIIT on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8682-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the specification for YM series three-phase induction motors used in woodworking. It fixes the type of the motor, its basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and the requirements for signs, packaging and the guarantee. It applies to the YM series three-phase induction motors for woodworking built in frame sizes 71 to 100. Among the standards it quotes are GB 755-2008, GB/T 1032-2005, GB/T 4772.1-1999, GB 14711-2006 and GB/T 22719.1-2008.
