1 Foreword

JB/T 8658-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8658-1997.

2 Scope

External rotor low noise three-phase induction motors are covered by JB/T 8658-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It sets the types of these motors, their basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the requirements for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Rotating machine standards are quoted with it, among them GB 755-2008, GB/T 1032, GB/T 1804-2000, GB 1971, GB/T 4772.1-1999, GB/T 5171.1, GB 12350-2009, GB/T 22671 and JB/T 9101. It supersedes JB/T 8658-1997.
