JB/T 8651.1-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8651.1-1997.
It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 8651 series.
2 Scope
This standard is part 1 of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the elements of machine tool lubrication systems, and it covers the manually operated grease pump, called the hand pump in the text. The part sets the basic parameters of the hand pump, its technical requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions for signs, packaging, transportation and storage. It applies to hand pumps used in machine tool lubrication systems, and the lubrication systems of other mechanical equipment may also use it for reference.
